Lisa Anderson, C.Ht., calls the New Orleans area home, growing up in Jefferson Parish and now residing in Madisonville, on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain.  She attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, majoring in Communications, before becoming Miss Louisiana USA, 1979.  Lisa has two wonderful children adopted from India and is an adoption advocate and humanitarian aid activist.  She has worked as an International Specialist for Children’s House International for the past 21 years, traveling to 11 countries.  She has helped place nearly 900 orphans in loving forever families both domestic and abroad and has helped raise over 1 million dollars in humanitarian aid to help keep families and children together, as well as to provide support for orphans that remain in institutions.  In 2015 Lisa received a congressional award for her work with Children.  Senator Bill Cassidy, Senator David Vitter and Representative Steve Scalise nominated her to the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute and she received an Angels in Adoption award.

Lisa became interested in hypnosis during her many visits to India and Nepal.  She traveled to Bhutan to meet the Rinpoche in Bumthang, Bhutan, where she learned even more about the positive attributes of meditation and hypnosis.  Lisa decided to become a certified hypnotherapist when she learned that hypnosis can help children with false memories and post-traumatic stress symptoms.  Her hypnosis practice grew and she now teaches others how to use self-hypnosis to alleviate stress, sleep better and to generally lead a healthier, happier life.  Her technique called “Mind-Body Inventory” will help you to change your life as well.  In addition to teaching Mind-Body Inventory, Lisa is available for private and group hypnosis sessions to conquer smoking, depression, chronic pain, phobias, and surgery preparation.  She continues to work with children and adolescents as well as adults.

What Is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is just a relaxed state of focused attention.  Total concentration, without interruption, allows you to communicate with your subsoscious mind to make lasting changes such as weight loss, stop smoking and other bad habits, regain health and focus towards a happier, healthier future.  Hypnosis is one of the most effectve tools for  self-change in the world today.  It has been around for more than half a century.
